Pop In and Play: Learning Links and the Connection to Play
On 27 September 2023 and 28 September 2023 from 4.30pm until 5.30pm we will be holding a pop in and play session for families. This will allow existing and new families an opportunity to find out more about learning links and the connection this has to children’s play. It is important that we can share with families about children’s interests across the learning environment and learning links allows us to do this. Engaging families in their child’s learning enables them to connect more readily with the learning happening across the setting and use the resources available, including the wider community, to extend projects at home. Sharing this information with us means that we can celebrate the achievements children are making through the learning stories we write about them. Sponsored Autumn Nature Hunt
We will be having a Sponsored Autumn Nature Hunt on the week beginning the 9 October 2023. This event will happen across the week to ensure that all children have the opportunity to take part. There will be more details to follow soon. We appreciate the support of families in helping us fund raise. We want to ensure that the children all have a lovely time when Christmas comes so this will really help us do that.
Upcoming Holidays
The nursery will be closed to all children on Friday 22 September 2023 and Monday 25 September 2023 for the September weekend. All term time children will stop on Friday 13 October 2023 for the October break with the nursery being closed to all children for an in service training day on Monday 23 October 2023. We will reopen on Tuesday 24 October 2023.
