A Place to Wonder, Explore and Grow

Over the summer, we have been thoughtfully developing our play environment in preparation for welcoming back our returning children and meeting all our new children.

We have created an environment inspired by Froebelian principles, where children are recognised as curious, capable and creative learners. Our spaces have been carefully considered to provide rich and meaningful opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and develop their ideas through play.

We invite you to watch the video we have attached, which gives you a little glimpse into the environments we have created for the children. We hope it will give you a sense of the thought and care that has gone into preparing these spaces and the exciting opportunities they will offer for exploration, creativity and discovery.

Our indoor and outdoor spaces provide children with the freedom to make choices, follow their interests and take their ideas in directions that are meaningful to them. Through open-ended experiences and carefully considered resources, children will be encouraged to investigate, experiment, problem-solve and make connections with the world around them.

We recognise the importance of relationships in supporting children’s learning. Our highly skilled practitioners will be alongside the children, observing, listening and responding to their ideas, while giving them the time, space and freedom to lead their own learning. We will nurture their interests and extend their thinking through sensitive interactions and shared experiences.

We are excited to see where the children’s imaginations, questions and ideas will take them, and to watch their projects, stories and learning unfold through play. We look forward to sharing in their discoveries and celebrating the unique contributions that every child brings to our learning community.
